Other Terms & conditions
1.
Tenure of Post :
(i)
The appointment is on contractual basis for a
fixed tenure of a period of Two (02) years initially, subject to the extension
thereafter on yearly basis based on the performance assessment by CRSS.
(ii)
The contract can be terminated at any time with
one month notice from either side.
(iii) The
contract service can be terminated by the Competent
Authority
without any prior notice if,
(a)
It is satisfied on medical evidence that you are
unfit for reasons of ill health for the discharge of your duties. The decision
of the Competent Authority l.e. Secretary Transport, UT
Chandigarh-cum-President of BoG of Chandigarh Road Safety Society in this
regard shall be conclusive and binding on you.
(b)
It is satisfied on verification that your
character and antecedents are such that you are not fit for being retained in
the service of the Chandigarh Centre of Excellence in Road Safety.
(c)
In case of any misconduct.
(d)
In case the performance is found not up to the
mark.
2.
Remuneration/Emoluments:
(i)
You will be paid the consolidated
remuneration/emoluments of Rs. 75000/- per month with minimum 5% increase every
year of the contractual amount.
(ii)
You will not be entitled to any benefit like
Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Seniority or any other benefit available to
the Government employees appointed on regular basis.
(iii)
You will neither be entitled for the allotment
of any Accommodation or HRA
3.
Leave, TA/DA,
GPF/CPF etc.
(i)
No Leave of any kind shall be admissible except
Gazetted holidays. However, one casual leave per month may be availed.
SSP/Traffic & Security, Member
Secretary- cum- CEO of Chandigarh Road Safety Society may sanction leave upto 05 days & leave beyond 05 days
may be sanctioned by Secretary, Transport, UT Chandigarh-cum- President of
Board of Governors of Chandigarh Road Safety Society.
(ii)
Under special circumstances, leave without pay
may be granted by the Competent Authority on the recommendation of CEO-cum-
Member Secretary of Chandigarh Road Safety Society.
(iii)
You shall not be entitled for any TA/DA/GPF/CPF
etc.
4.
General
Conditions:
(i)
The offer of appointment is subject to being
declared medically fit by a registered practitioner.
(ii)
The contractual appointment shall be on full
time basis and during this period you shall not accept any other appointment,
paid or otherwise, during the period of contract.
(iii)
The contract appointment will not count as
service and will not bestow upon the
appointee any claim or right for regular appointment against any post in the
Chandigarh Centre of Excellence in Road Safety.
(iv)
You will also be required to discharge other
duties as and when assigned by the Competent Authority. No extra allowance will
be admissible in case of such additional duties:
(iv)
You shall have to conform to the by-laws and
regulations of Chandigarh Road Safety Society and those imposed by the
Chandigarh Road Safety Society on all the employees from time to time,
regarding conduct and discipline
(v)
Your Character & antecedents will be got
verified from the concerned District Magistrate of your home district.
(vi)
If any declaration or information furnished by
you at the time of joining is found to be false or if you are found to have
willfully suppressed any material information, you will be liable for removal
from service without any notice and also such other action, as Competent
Authority may deem necessary.
(vii)
All disputes, if any, shall be decided by the
Sole Arbitration by the Competent Authority i.e. Secretary, Transport, UT
Chandigarh-cum- President of Board of Governors of Chandigarh Road Safety
Society.
(viii) The
other conditions of the service will be governed by relevant rules and orders
for contractual appointments issued from time to time by the Chandigarh
Administration.
In
case the offer of appointment on the above said terms
and conditions is acceptable to
you, you should report immediately to join your duties in the office of Senior
Superintendent of Police, Traffic & Security, UT Chandigarh- cum-CEO of
Chandigarh Road Safety Society at Chandigarh Police Headquarters, Additional
Deluxe Building, Sector 9, Chandigarh but not later than 15 days from the
receipt of appointment letter by you, failing which it will be presumed that
you are not interested in this offer and the offer of appointment will
automatically stand cancelled.
