As per notification of BEL there
are 350 posts of Probationary Engineers out of which 200 posts are of
Probationary Engineer (Electronic) in E-II Grade and 150 posts are of Probationary
Engineer (Mechanical) in E-II Grade and age limit for the post of probationary engineers as on 1.1.2025 is 25 years and age
relaxation is applicable as per rules and regulations of the BEL.

Vacancy recruitment 2025: Selection process
As per detailed notification after
receipt of applications online the candidates will be shortlisted for Computer based test
and the qualifying marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates is 35% and 30% for
SC/ST/PwBD candidates in both computer based test and interview separately. Afte computer test eligible candidates will be called for
interview in the ratio of 1:5.
SYLLABUS
for the post of Probationary Engineer:
The computer
based test mainly comprised objective type questions derived from the core
engineering subjects that candidates have studies as part of their respective
engineering disciplines or specializations.
Apart from this, the test will also
include General Aptitude to assess analytical and reasoning abilities.
