The Damodar Valley Corporation established in 1948 for the development
of the Damodar valley area in the States of Jharkhand and West Bengal and

DVC Recruitment 2025:Age
AS per
office notification the upper age limit
for the vacancies is 29 years as on closing date of online application for unreserved candidates. The age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC
(NCL)/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates will be as per Government of India guidelines. There
is no upper age limit for DVC Departmental candidates. Departmental candidates
shall also be required to qualify in the corresponding paper of UGC-NET June
2024.
OFFICIAL NOTIFIATOIN
DVC Recruitment 2025:
The
candidate must have appeared in the corresponding paper of UGC- National
Eligibility Test (NET)June 2024 as detailed in the notification and secured at
least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers (i.e. Paper I and Paper II) taken
together ( relaxed to at least 35% for candidates belonging to the reserved
categories i.e. SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/Ex-SM wherever vacancy is reserved.
DVC Recruitment 2025: Pay
As per
official notification of DVC the pay
level for the vacancies is Level-10 of 7th CPC (M2 grade) with pay
scale of Rs 56,100-1,77,500/-.
DVC Recruitment 2025:Fee
As per
official notification the requisite fee for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS is
Rs 300/- which is nonrefundable and to be paid through Online mode only.
DVC Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
AS per
official notification the Selection
Process consists of marks obtained in the corresponding paper of UGC-NET-June
2024 only. Eligible candidates must have appeared in the corresponding paper of
UGC-NET-June 2024, i.e. Human Resource (NET – June 2024 - Paper Code-55),
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) (NET – June 2024 –Social Work ,Paper
Code-10 ), Public relation- (NET – June 2024 – Mass Communication, Paper
Code-63).
The candidates will be shortlisted for
Document Verification (DV) on the basis of UGC-NET -June 2024 marks obtained in
the order of merit in the ratio of 1:3or more to the number of vacancies
category-wise in each discipline for the further selection process. In case two
or more candidates in the same discipline and category secured equal marks in
UGC-NET-June 2024 and the ratio is increasing, all those candidates who secured
equal marks will be called for Document Verification (DV) irrespective of the above
ratio.

AS per
official notification those eligible candidates who are interested
for the vacancies so notified by the DVC can
apply online on or before
9.2.2025. The Last date for depositing of the application fee is also same i.e.
9.2.2025.
