Supreme Court of India Recent Recruitment 2025:
The Supreme Court of India has
notified recruitment notification 2025 for the post
of Law Clerk-cum-Research Associates on contractual basis for
preparation of a panel of approximately 90 candidates for appointment as Law
Clerk-cum-Research Associates on contract basis in the Supreme Court of India initially
on a consolidated remuneration of ₹80,000/- per month for the assignment term
2025-2026.

Supreme Court Recent Recruitment 2025:
As per notification published on
the official website of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India appointment as Law Clerk-cum-Research
Associate is a full time assignment, purely contractual in nature. It has
been mentioned in the notification that the Law Clerk will not accept any other
assignment during their assignment term as Law Clerk even they will not be
allowed to practise as an Advocate in any Court of Law during the course of
their assignment term as Law Clerks.
Supreme Court Recent Recruitment 2025: Qualification
As per notification the candidate
must be a law graduate with degree of law including integrated Degree course in
law from any school/college/university/institution established by law by law in
India and recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrolment as an Advocate. Even the candidate who are in
the fifth year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course or the third year of the
Three-Year Law Course after graduation in any stream will also be eligible to
apply, subject to furnishing proof of acquiring Law qualification before taking
up the assignment as Law Clerkcum-Research Associate.

Special Skill for Law Clerk-cum-
Research Associates
As per notification the candidate
should have research and analytical skills, writing abilities, and knowledge of
computers, including retrieval of desired information from various search
engines/processes such as e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw
etc.
Age Limit for Law Clerk-cum Research Associates
As per
official notification the Supreme Court candidate must not be below the
age of 20 years and above 32 years as on 07.02.2025.
Mode of
selection for Clerk-cum Research Associates
As per notification the selection
process shall be conducted in three phases and
there will be Multiple Choice Based Questions, testing the candidates’
ability to understand and apply the law, and comprehension skills in part I and
thereafter in Part II there will be Subjective Written Examination, covering
writing and analytical skills; Part III- Interview. For more details the
candidates must read the notification of the Supreme Court. Further as per
notification the examination for Part I
and Part II shall be conducted on the same day in two sessions at twenty-three
(23) cities across India. As per notification
the written examination for appointment of Law Clerk-cumResearch Associate to
be held on 09.03.2025 and Part I- Examination will be conducted in online mode
and Question paper for Part-II- Examination will be visible on Computer Screen
and candidates(s) have to write answers in pen-paper mode.
