CSIR-CBRI Recruitment 2025 for  JSA, Stenographer & Driver: Educational Qualification

 As per official notification the  required educational for the vacancies of Junior  Secretariate Assistant and  Stenographer is 10+2 whereas the qualification of Driver is Matriculation. Apart from this qualification a special skill is required for the these vacancies which is as under:-

Junior Secretariate Assistant: For this post the candidate must have proficiency in computer typing with minimum speed of 35 w.p.m in English  and 30 w.p.m in Hindi typing with knowledge of computer operation.

Junior Stenographer: For the post of Junior Stenographer the  candidate must have stenography skill  as per prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from time to time with minimum speed of 80 w.p.m.

Driver:  for the post of driver the candidate must have one year experience of driving a motor car with valid driving license with knowledge of motor mechanism etc.

For applying for the aforesaid vacancies the candidates need to pay Rs.500/- whereas  no fee is payable by SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

What is the procedure for selection of JSA and Junior Stenographer and driver

As per  detailed official notification of CSIR-CBIR there will be  OMR and Computer based  multiple choice written examination for all the three categories of vacancies.

Apart from this there will be skill test for all the vacancies.

 For Junior stenographer there will be stenography test @80 p.w.m and there will be dictation of 10 minutes  which is required to be  transcript within 50 minutes for English shorthand and in 65 minutes for hindi shorthand.

For Junior Secretariate Assistant: There will be typing test on computer  @35 w.p.m.  and the time  for typing will be allocated for 10 minutes  for more details see the notification.

For Driver:   There will be trade test. The candidates need to read the notification carefully with regard to  qualification requirement and other details.
