What is the qualification for Dak
Sevak (GDS)
The required qualification for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak
(GDS) 10th with passing marks in Mathematics and English conducted by any
recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State
Governments/ Union Territories in India. Since these vacancies have been published for
various states the candidates have studied
local language of a particular state for which he applies upto 10th
standard. Apart from this Candidate must
have knowledge of computer and cycling.
What is the Selection Process for GDS
After receipt of application the
applicants will be shortlisted for engagement on the basis of a system
generated merit list. The Merit list would be prepared on the basis of marks
obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks as per details given in the official
