The Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has finally notified
its detailed notification on its official website www.pspcl.in. Earlier the PSPCL has only published a short advertisement on its official website
having no details with regard to the vacancy
of Assistant Lineman. So now the full details of the vacancies are
available. As per notification there are
2500 vacancies of Assistant Lineman (ALM) and the eligible
candidates are required to apply for the said vacancies w.e.f. 21.2.2025
only till 17.3.2025. Since now the details of the vacancy is

The
essential qualification for the post of Assistant Lineman is Matriculation or
equivalent and having National
Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Lineman Trade. Candidates
having higher education of Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering will be
considered only if they have minimum qualifications i.e., National
Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade. Importantly
the candidate(s) must have passed National Apprenticeship certificate in
lineman trade upto last date of Submission/Registration of online
application. |
The reservation for the above 2500 vacancies
of Assistant Lineman is applicable as per rules and regulations of the PSPC and
for more information the candidates needs to go through the official notification
carefully. The knowledge of Punjabi Language
is mandatory for the post of Assistant

notification the candidates must be between 18 to 37 years as on 01/01/2025 and the age relaxation is applicable to all the reserved category candidates

What is the pay for the
vacancy of Assistant Lineman
As per
notification the minimum basic pay for the post of Assistant Linema is Rs. 19990/- per Month, and if the candidate is
selected for the said post he will get t he minimum admissible pay during the
probation period of 3 years as per rules and regulations of the Punjab Government.
Meaning thereby the basic pay of
Rs.19,900/- will not include any allowances or increment during probation period
except traveling allowances. For more information the candidates needs to read the instruction with
regard to pay in the official notification carefully.
What is the Selection Procedure
for the posts of Assistant Lineman
For the selection of Assistant Lineman there
will be Computer based online test which
will be conducted in two parts. In the first part there will be qualifying test of Punjabi language and second part there will be test of
subjects related to technical question, Punjab language knowledge, GK, reasoning
and arithmetic. What is the qualifying marks
As per notification the minimum qualifying marks for part-II paper is
25% for General category candidates whereas 20% for reserved category
candidates.
