Punjab Police fresh Constable Recruitment 2025 for 1746 vacancies: Educational Qualification
As per
notification the required qualification for the vacancies of constable is 10+2
or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board/University. However,
matriculation for Ex-servicemen. In addition above the candidates must have passed
matriculation in Punjabi.
Physical parameters for the post of Constable.
AS per
notification the minimum height requirement for Male candidate is 5 feet 7
inches (170.2 cms) whereas for female candidates the minimum height requirement
5 feet 2 inches
(157.5 cms)
Pay and Age for the post of
constable
Age for the post of Constable: As
per notification the interested candidate must be between 18 to 28 years as on
1.1.2025 age relaxation is appliable as per rules and regulations of the
government and for details please read the notification.
Pay: On
selection for the post of Constable there will be minimum pay of Rs. 19,900/- per month for three years from
the date of joining in service.
What is the Selection process
for the post of Constable
As per notification there will be written test to be conducted through
a Common Application Form (CAF) and Common Computer Based (CBT) process
followed by Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) as
per specified parameters. The candidates needs to indicate their choice
of cadres, in order of preference, in the application form subject to the condition
that they meet the required eligibility criteria.
Stages of Selection :
The selection will be done in three stages in the first stage there
will be two common Computer Based Test (CBT), multiple Choice Question (MCQ)
type Paper i.e. Paper-I and Paper-Il, of which Paper-Il shall be qualifying in
nature.
In the
second stage there will be Physical Screening
Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Both Physical Screening Test which
are qualifying in n nature. In the last stage i.e. 3rd stage there will
documentary scrutiny.
