The
candidates who want to apply for the post of Nursing Officer must possess qualification
of B. Sc (Hons.} Nursing or post basic B.Sc from a recognized university and registered as Nurse or Nurse and Mid wife with state Nursing Council or must have diploma in General Nursing mid-wifery
from a recognized board or council and
must be registered as Nurse with or Nurse and mid-wife with State Council and most important the candidates must have one year experience in a minimum
50 bed hospital.

Nursing officer vacancy 2025: What is the Selection Process
For
the selection of Nursing Officer in GMCH Chandigarh there will be written
test of 100 marks which will be in two
parts. The first part of the paper will be of Subject knowledge of concerned
post i.e. Nursing which will be 70 marks and the
second paper will be of practical
assessment which will be 30 marks. The qualifying marks for the paper is as under:

and OBC 50%
PWD 45%
SC 40%
After
the written examination the candidates will be called for counselling as merit
in the ratio of 1:3. As per notification
the selection will be made purely on the basis of merit i.e. performance in the
written test and there will no
interview.
