Qualification of Assistant Quality Control Officer:
The
candidate should have Master’s Degree in Chemistry/equivalent disciplines from
recognized Indian Universities/Institutes through regular full-time mode.
Equivalent disciplines in M.Sc. in Chemistry
shall include Inorganic/Organic/ Analytical/Physical/Applied
Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry. Apart
from this candidate must have 2 years of cumulative experience in
Testing/R&D/Quality Control in Petroleum /Petro-chemical/Polymer/Fertilizer

What is the Selection
process for the vacancy of Assistant Quality Control Officer
For the
selection of Assistant Quality Control Officer there will be
a Computer Based Test which comprises
objective type consisting of two parts - General Aptitude and Discipline
Knowledge, Group Discussion/Group Task and Personal Interview.
What is Computer Based Test (CBT): In
the Computer Based Test there will be objective type paper containing 135
questions and the time span for the paper will 120 minutes which could be conducted in one or more sessions in
a single day. There will be Objective type Multiple-Choice Type questions and
the computer-based exam will be held in both language i.e. English and Hindi and
pertinently there is no negative marking for wrong answer. The details regarding the CBT test and cent
re will be intimated to the candidates
around 15 day before the schedule date of CBT.
Physical
Fitness: important to note that on selection the candidates will have
to undergo “Pre-employment Medical Examination” and should be declared
medically fit as per Indian Oil’s pre-employment medical standard.
